This Friday, Memorial University School of Social Work is celebrating 50 years of professional Social Work Education. As the largest community employer of social workers in the province, Stella’s Circle is taking time to honour this important partnership with the School, by highlighting just a few of our Stella’s Circle Registered Social Workers. Our staff use trauma-informed, best practices to support the 1000 inspiring participants that we help with housing, counselling and employment. As well, Social Work students from Memorial University regularly complete their field placements with Stella’s Circle staff, providing a well-rounded view of how individuals are supported in our community through our programs and services within the three pillars, Real Homes, Real Help and Real Work.
