Without a home, staying well and finding work is a real challenge. Stella’s Circle offers housing programs that help people find homes so that they can get on with the job of living. We Case Managers, Mental Health and Housing Workers and Housing and Tenant Relations Specialists available.
Safe, secure and stable housing is essential to well being. Stella’s Circle helps address the need for affordable housing for people who face barriers by offering 79 housing units throughout the City of St. John’s. We also work with landlords to support people find and stay in safe, appropriate housing.
Stella’s Circle provides mentoring and related assistance to many community organizations across the province and is a founding member of End Homelessness St. John’s.
The Brian Martin Housing Resource Centre is located at 84 Prescott Street and offers counselling, advocacy, and other support services to help people find secure housing. The Centre includes computers, telephones, and a meeting space. The Centre is named after Brian Martin, a passionate advocate for affordable housing.
The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Monday to Thursday from 1:30-3:30 pm, we offer Housing Help – we invite anyone to drop in to ask questions of our staff or to use our resources to search for housing.
We accept self-referrals or referrals from others including health care providers, family counselling agencies, government departments, or family and friends of individuals needing housing assistance. There is no application or form to complete; simply drop in or contact us for assistance.

Naomi Centre is an emergency shelter that offers safe and supportive temporary housing for women aged 16-30 within a harm reduction model. Our staff provide supportive counselling services and support is also provided to former residents of Naomi Centre.
We accept self-referrals or referrals from others including health care providers, family counselling agencies, government departments, or family and friends of individuals needing emergency housing.
