Controller
Stella’s Circle is seeking a Controller, responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations of Stella’s Circle. This new role ensures the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of financial information. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Controller will provide strategic financial leadership and serve as a trusted advisor to the organization’s senior leadership team.
Cleaning Team Lead
Under the direction of the Business Development Manager, you will provide onsite guidance and support to participants in various commercial settings. Using a hands-on and caring approach, you will collaborate with participants and their employment supports to help develop skills in cleaning and other general employment areas. This is a unique opportunity to lead others and the community. With a continuous improvement and learning mindset, overseeing customer care while mentoring and helping people develop employment and other life skills, our Social Enterprise and impact will continue to grow.
Housing Focused Case Manager
We are currently looking for a Housing Focused Case Manager to join our Housing Services team. This position is located at the Brian Martin Housing Resource Centre which offers a range of services including homelessness prevention, case management, diversion, rapid rehousing and long-term affordable housing options.
Under the direction of the Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing individualized case management services to persons experiencing homelessness who are in emergency shelter. The Case Manager serves as the central point of contact for individuals, as they navigate the transition from homelessness to long term stable housing. The candidate will have strong case management experience necessary to assess, plan and develop housing focused interventions. Using a strengths-based approach, you will meet participants where they are and support them to develop and implement goals in an effort to make positive changes in their lives. You recognize the complexity of this population, and your interventions are grounded in Housing First principles, Harm Reduction and Motivational Interviewing. You also have strong communication skills and are comfortable with giving presentations to internal/external audiences. Experience working in a leadership role would be an asset.
Transitional Housing Support Worker
The Housing Support Worker (HSW) plays an important role in the operations of a 15-unit transitional and supportive living arrangement for women and gender-diverse individuals who have experienced the criminal justice system, homelessness, or gender-based violence.
This position provides trauma-informed and harm-reduction support to residents to maintain their housing and assist with transitions. The HSW works closely with residents and the Program Lead to support individual needs and contribute to the overall day-to-day flow and function of the building.
Overnight Residential Support & Safety Worker
The Overnight Residential Support & Safety Worker plays a crucial role in supporting the safety and security of a 15-unit transitional and supportive living arrangement for women and gender-diverse individuals who have experienced the criminal justice system, homelessness, or gender-based violence. This position requires a harm reduction approach to support the safety, security, and stability of residents, staff, and facilities during overnight hours.
