Stella’s Circle Announces BMO Donation to Changing Lives

St. John’s, NL – Stella’s Circle CEO, Lisa Browne, is delighted to announce a substantial donation from BMO Financial Group. Over the next five years, BMO will donate $100,000 to the Changing Lives Campaign in support of the organization’s Employment Training Centre on Cabot Street. The Centre provides a range of career and employment services to assist individuals in making a successful transition to the labour market. To date, almost $3 million has been raised for the Changing Lives Campaign.

“BMO is pleased to support Stella’s Circle through the Changing Lives Campaign,” says Jim Fallon, BMO Regional Vice President.   “At BMO we are committed to diversity and inclusion. Stable and meaningful employment is an important contributor to physical and mental health. Stella’s Circle understands the importance of this.”

“Our Employment Training Centre would not be possible without the support and vision of donors like BMO,” says Lisa Browne. “Enabling those who have been excluded from the workforce to develop skills they need to become workers truly does change lives – theirs and everyone around them. Through the support of this campaign, BMO is playing a significant role in the success of our participants.”
