The Tightrope of Work/Life Balance

Celebrating Mental Health Week with our 3rd Women’s Mental Wellness Session

We’re celebrating Mental Health Week with our rescheduled session of our Women’s Mental Wellness Speaker Series on Thursday, May 7.  Previously postponed due to the pandemic outbreak in March, we’re presenting The Tightrope of Work/Life Balance, now with a COVID-19 twist.

Pour up a cup of tea, grab a yummy treat and tune in online  from our Facebook event! You can find it on our Facebook page or directly here.  Start a watch party and invite your book club, besties, sisters, colleagues or attend on your own! You’ll be able to ask questions in the comments throughout the session. Join us at 7pm as we go live!

Start your Mothers’ Day self-care early. Do you struggle to manage expectations from work along with family and relationship pressures while isolated at home? Is the concept of work/life balance a myth, or is it possible to keep your head where your feet are? This session will teach you practical strategies and skills to improve your work/life balance during the added challenge of a global pandemic. We will discuss factors that negatively impact work/life balance and explore areas for improvement. Learn how life can be easier when we slow down and become more thoughtful in choosing, reducing and prioritizing tasks.

No registration, no fee. Just some extra support from our staff to you to help look after your everyday mental wellness. This speaker series is made possible thanks to LOVE YOU funding by Shoppers Drug Mart.
